Center for Central Asian Studies of School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University with collaboration of students organized a wide range Seminar on Tajikistan Today.  Seminar opened Mr. Diviabh Manchanda, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of External Affairs of the Republic of India.  Different political, economical and cultural topics were presented by Prof. Devendra Kaushik, Prof. Warikoo, Prof. Stobdan, Dr. Syed Akhter Hussain and other famous scientists, post graduate and students. Professor M. Olimov, Visiting Professor currently affiliated in JNU SIS Center for Central Asian Studies, presented paper on the development perspectives in Tajikistan and U. Qudratzoda, President of Tajikistan Students’ Association had presentation. During discussions Mr. D. Manchanda and Dr. (Ms) Munzifa Babajanova, Counsellor of the Embassy of Tajikistan (presented as honor guest) explained for participants bilateral relation India-Tajikistan and situation in Tajikistan in nowadays.
