H.E. Mr.Salahiddin Nasriddinov, Ambassador,Embassy of The Republic of Tajikistan, in a message on the occasion of Navruz said that the commemoration of Navruz is one of the oldest and most scared customs of our ancestors,which its apporaching heralds th coming of the beautiful spring and the beginning of the New Year. This Happy news is a symbol of creativity,the awakening of nature and a new year start in life.At the same time, the anicient tradition of our ancestors was vicotry of light over darkness and the triumph of good evil. With Navruz when filled with fun and excitement,and happy news assembles all from young to old, festive celebration regarding to Naruz.
On this occasion ,
H.E.Mr.Salahiddin Nasriddinov, Ambassador,Embassy of The Republic of Tajikistan, hosted a lavish dinner to celebrate the Navruz,on 20th of March 2008, at the Embassy of Tajikistan.
The Navruz function at tajikistan Embassy was attended by the Ambassadors and diplomats of Central Asian countries like Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan,Turkmenistan and others.
Establishment of peace and national harmony has further consolidated the independence of Tajikistan and now the Tajik Government is in a position to take up the program of economic reforms. But the most important thing is that thanks to the establishment of peace the confidence of world community towards Tajikistan as a democratic state has considerably increased, and this has opened for Tajikistan wide possibilities of cooperation with foreign countries and international financial organizations. With the establishment of peace and stability Tajikistan has entered into an important stage of strengthening the foundations of Statehood and laid the basis of sustainable development of our economy. This is a qualitatively new stage signifying rapid growth in all the fields of the life of our country.

Today, Tajikistan is a stabile country in the Central Asia with its growing economy and stabile social-political situation. Tajikistan is ready for giving grate opportunity to foreign investment for the participation in the economy of country.

Many industrially developed countries, particularly Russia, China, USA, Iran, India, Japan, Turkey, Kazakhstan and many others are showing their interest in Tajikistan.
We believe that after a few years Tajikistan with its huge potential (Hydropower, natural resources) and geographic location will become one of the mane player countries not only in the Central Asia, but also in whole region.
